I am a photographer in Yuba City, CA specializing in family, maternity, newborn, and wedding photography. My photography could be described as authentic, timeless, and colorful with a splash of fun! I strive to capture raw emotion whether it’s with the love of your life, or your little mini me’s. I create memories that will shower the walls of your home with love and laughter.

I am an on-location photographer and have many beautiful locations up my sleeve. Depending on your desire for a more natural or urban setting, I’ve got you covered. Together we can discuss your vision and select the perfect location. Outdoor sessions typically take place about 1 hour to 1 ½ hour prior to sunset. Newborn and cake smash sessions take place in my in-home studio. 

Q: When should I DO my newborn session, AND HOW EARLY DO I NEED TO BOOK?

Newborn photography is best when done in the first few weeks of life. This is how we get those cute curled-up sleeping poses. If you’re already past that, don’t stress! I still have ways to get those beautiful images you’ve been longing for. Since I only take a limited number of newborn clients each month, it’s best to book early.  I recomend as you enter your third trimester.

Whatever you feel most comfortable in!  I have a customized styling service that’s unique just for you! After answering a few questions (number of people. Clothing sizes, color pallet, etc) within just a few clicks you can have photographer-approved outfits right in front of you. Love what you see? Well, you can order directly from there, or simply use the ideas as inspiration to pull your own things from your closet.

Q: WHAT'S THE TURNAROUND TIME?

Q: When will I receive my digital images after the session?

One of the things my clients love about me most is my quick turnaround. About one week after your session we will set up your Gallery Reveal.  This is where we will sit down and design your wall art and select the images that will suit your home and style best. 

Q: Do I get digitals?

Q: How do I get additional products and prints from a professional lab?

A digital file printable up to 8x10 is included with each portrait purchased.  

Q. How do you choose what images I GET?

Q. How do you choose what images to use in the gallery from my session? 

I go through each image of your session and choose those that best represent you and your family as well as me as an artist with my known vibrant and colorful look. Duplicates and unusable images will instantly be removed. I will put all of the images in your gallery, so from there you can pick your favorites to cherish for years to come!

For weekend dates, I usually book out about 2-3 months in advance. I encourage newborn inquiries to contact me while you're still pregnant (as you enter your third trimester).  If you have already delivered, please still reach out, as I may be able to fit you in within a few weeks.  I recommend maternity sessions between 30-36 weeks so that you are more comfortable during your session, and you'll have a nice round bump for us to photograph!

There are no hidden fees. What you see laid out in my pricing is what you can expect. I try to make this as simple as possible for you.

Typically the only mini session I offer is a studio Christmas Mini Session. This is my little thank you to my clients throughout the year.
