8th-Grade Photos: A Memorable Milestone

8th-grade photos are an important milestone for parents and their children. This is the year that your child leaves the education world they’ve grown up in and ventures off to a new place, where their personalities and self-growth will continue. 8th Grade graduation resembles the development from childhood to teen. While it’s not as significant as high school graduation, it’s a memorable milestone. Make sure to commemorate this moment with professional photos taken by a skilled Yuba City photographer!
In the past few years, the popularity of 8th-grade photos has increased. It’s become a tradition that parents have started to partake in. As a parent myself, I value this newer tradition. Our kids grow all too fast and we already that. Over the past 13-14 years (if you have a current 8th grader) you’ve come to this realization.
This sweet girl happens to live around the corner from me! When her mom reached out and wanted to work together to plan Presley’s 8th Grade Photos I was extremely honored! We chatted about a few ideas or desires that Presley had for her portrait session, and we put them into action.
We were fortunate to have a beautiful field of wildflowers just down the way from our neighborhood. I knew I wanted to incorporate the wildflowers for a few reasons. First of all, they are beautiful, but also, because I had a vision in my mind. I knew I could really tell the story of Presley going from childhood to her magnificent teenage years.
Then we were able to venture out to some private property in the Sutter Buttes. It was fun to incorporate this location because Presley will be attending Sutter High School next year!
