My Crazy Crew | Megan Escheman Photography

It’s not often that you’ll find me in front of the camera, as I’m much much more comfortable behind it.  However, once a year, every single year, we get our family photos taken.  I would never want to go without these images year after year to document our lives.  It’s so amazing to see how much our kids have grown throughout the years.  As a photographer, it’s always difficult to figure out how you’re going to get family photos done and include yourself in them at the same time.  I force myself to be the client and relinquish control over to a fellow photographer friend.  This year, my sweet friend Alicia from Colehearted Photography stepped in and helped us out.  She met us at a beautiful venue that I’d picked out and captured some amazing memories for us.  You’d think that after taking family photos year after year that my husband and I could actually get through a couple’s portion of a session without laughing at each other the ENTIRE time.  Yeah, that hasn’t happened yet, maybe one day LOL.  My girls make sessions easy, they do what they are asked, stand there and smile.  My son on the other hand, well he has taken it upon himself to be the family clown.  This means he’s constantly cracking jokes and making us all laugh.  It’s one way to assure real, genuine smiles out of us!  I guess it could be worse :). Thank you Colehearted Photography for helping us capture memories that will last a lifetime!  I’m truly thankful for the friendship we’ve built through our passion for photography.  I always have the best time working with you.
