Children’s Photo Session | Yuba City Photographer… I met this family about 3 years ago when mama was pregnant with the youngest. I’ve loved watching these two little beauties grow up over the years. Mom told me that it’s difficult for her to get good photos of the girls smiling, looking at the camera, and showing their personalities, so she switched from a family session to just a session focusing on the girls.
Let me personally tell you, this is EVERY mom’s issue. Trust me! Sometimes taking photos of our own children is the hardest thing. I went into this session knowing what I wanted to capture. For this children’s photo session I wanted to document these kids being kids. That’s how I know I’d get their personalities. Yes, we all love those photos where our kids are looking at the camera and smiling. We got those for sure, but as a mom, what really tugs at my heartstrings is gorgeous photos of my kids having fun. Making memories!
These girls are sisters (thank you captain obvious, lol). They’ve already formed a bond that no one else in the world can get between. They will forever hold a very special place in each other’s hearts. I hope that years from now they look back and these photos and they are able to see how early on their bond started. How they had fun together, played, looked to one another for reassurance, guidance, and love.
That’s what my job is about. Creating memories. Not just for the now. Yeah, I want you to have stunning photos of your family plaster all over your homes. But more importantly, 20 years from now, I want your kids to be able to look back and relive their childhood. Feel their childhood through these photos. That my friends is why I do what I do, and I love every second of it! That’s why we all need children’s photo sessions.
