Our New Addition, a Chocolate Lab | Yuba City Photographer

Say hello to our new addition! This is River! Our new chocolate lab from Goosebelly Farms. We just got her this week and we love her to pieces already! It’s been a few months since our other lab Willy left us, and we knew we wanted another one. My husband and son were on the search for a hunting dog. We waited until we found just the right fit. It’s been a REALLY long time since we’ve had a puppy living with us. Like, 10+ years long! There’s lots of laughter watching her hop around, lots of correction, and a lot of training going on. Fortunately, after just a couple of days, she was sleeping through the night in her crate! BONUS- No accidents in the house, yet…..
You may have seen a few photos of her that we posted on Instagram, but I just had to share some more from our session.
Luckily, I took these the very first day we brought her home. She sat pretty still for me, and eventually ended up falling asleep on the job! haha! Now she’s definitely grown more comfortable with her surroundings and she’s a little ball of fire at times, and then super sweet and snuggly at others.
I can’t wait to share our chocolate lab with you all as she continues to grow and becomes even more of our family adventures!
