This was such a fun Folsom Lake Family Portrait Session! One of my favorite things about shooting in this location is the pure beauty of it! I absolutely love how we can get such a unique look any time of year at Folsom Lake.

I loved meeting this family. They were so sweet and so excited for their photo session. Can you believe that they have never had professional portraits done before? When mama told me this I was shocked, but I instantly knew I had to make this an experience to remember for them. We sat down, planned out their session, and put it into action. They all laughed and had fun throughout our time together. One of the best compliments I can ever receive from my clients is when they tell me their husbands said they had fun! I mean, what more could we ask for?!?!?

This little guy had just turned a year old, so we got to document this fun stage with him during this Folsom Lake Family Portrait Session! He was so fun to watch navigate the sand. Come to find out, it was the first time he had ever been to a beach! Talk about capturing memories! How cool is that? I truly have one of the best jobs in the world!

As mama and I sat down together for their viewing and ordering appointment she couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with emotion. She absolutely loved every single image we took. I’m so glad we were able to capture these moments and milestones for this sweet sweet family. I can’t wait to see them again and watch their cute little family grow!
