Newborn safety isn't something I take lightly. I've trained extensively, and I stay current on the latest safety practices, so every pose, every prop, and every moment in my studio is handled with care and intention.
I don't just meet the standard for newborn posing and safety - I teach it. I actively train and mentor other photographers in newborn posing and safety techniques, which means when you bring your baby to my studio, you're working with someone the photography community trusts to pass this knowledge on.
Every session is baby-led and unhurried. We move at your newborn's pace, take breaks when needed, and never rush a pose that doesn't feel right. Your baby's comfort is always the priority - beautiful images follow naturally from that.

Confirm Your Date
Contact me within 48 hours of your baby's arrival to lock in your session date. Sessions are held Monday–Thursday at 10 AM to ensure the most peaceful environment. The sweet spot is within the first 14 days.
Gallery Reveal
About one week after your session, we'll meet virtually for your gallery reveal. You'll see your images, choose your favorites, and select your heirloom artwork. This is one of the best parts.
Your Artwork Arrives
Your finished products - albums, framed prints, wall art - are delivered in 4–6 weeks. Your digital images arrive before that so you're not waiting to share. Then the real fun starts: finding the perfect wall for that portrait.

My studio is stocked with carefully curated props, soft wraps, and backdrops chosen to create images that feel natural, timeless, and completely yours. And when it's over, you won't walk away with just a gallery link. You'll have archival prints, heirloom albums, and wall art built to last generations - the kind of thing your kids will find someday and immediately know it matters.
When to Book Your Sacramento Newborn Photography Session
Newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first 7–14 days of life - this is when your baby is sleepiest, most flexible, and easiest to pose into those beautiful, curled-up positions you've seen in my portfolio. After two weeks, that window begins to close quickly.
That's why I strongly recommend booking your session before your baby arrives - ideally in your second trimester. I hold a limited number of newborn sessions each month to ensure every family receives my full attention and care. Once those spots are filled, they're filled. Don't wait until after the birth to reach out - by then, your ideal dates may already be gone.
Sessions are scheduled Monday through Thursday at 10 AM. This allows the studio to be calm, unhurried, and completely focused on you and your baby.
