Newborn photography safety training is also very important when it comes to photographing newborns. It’s essential for the photographer to be aware of signs of distress and overheating. A good newborn photographer should have a strong understanding of the latest safe posing techniques to help reduce the risk for injury or illness to your child.
Parents can check for training by asking the following questions: How long have you been photographing newborns? Have you received any formal newborn photography education? Are you certified in newborn safety? What equipment do you use?
If they don’t have an answer, or if that sounds like too much work for them, it might be time to move on. After all, your baby’s safety should always come first!
