Celebrating The Big One with Waves of Fun | Roseville Cake Smash Photographer

As a Roseville cake smash photographer, I always look forward to capturing the most delightful moments in a child’s life, and Cal’s beach and surf-inspired cake smash session was no exception! Celebrating “The Big One” in style, Cal’s parents chose a summer-themed beach extravaganza, and it turned out to be an absolute blast!

We set up the scene with a beautiful backdrop adorned with shells, starfish, and surfboards. It was the perfect setting to bring the beach vibes right into our cake smash session in the studio. Cal’s beach-inspired outfit, featuring tiny board shorts and a themed onesie, was simply adorable, making him look like the tiniest surfer ready to catch some waves.

Cal stepped onto the sandy “stage,” and from that moment, I knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. Cal’s infectious giggles filled the air, setting the tone for a day filled with fun and laughter.

When the moment finally arrived to unveil the cake, Cal’s eyes sparkled with excitement. Of course, a cake-smash session wouldn’t be complete without some cake-smashing fun!

And smash the cake Cal did, with sheer enthusiasm and joy. His tiny hands dug into the frosting and he used the spoon as a shovel, and soon, he was covered in a delicious mess. Each snap of my camera perfectly captured his happiness and delight in this cherished moment.

But the fun didn’t stop there. We continued our beach-inspired adventure with a fun splash and play ending. Cal splashed in a bucket of water, pretended to ride on a foam board, and with his parents’ help, built sandcastles. It truly felt like a summer vacation, all within the confines of our studio beach-themed setup.
