Munger Family Vineyard, A Hobby That Ripened

The Munger Family Vineyard may have started out as a hobby for Stacey and Danny, but when you put your heart and soul into something you love it turns into something even more amazing! I’ve known Danny for quite some time, but only because he’s been my dentist for pretty much my entire adult life (I don’t want to admit my age LOL). Yes, he runs a family dentistry AND a winery. Oh, and they have two great kids as well! Can you say busy? Working with Stacey on this session was my first time meeting her, and I’m so glad our paths crossed. She’s one of the sweetest people! Every time we would meet up we just started chatting about literally everything!
Munger Family Vineyard is located at the base of the historic Sutter Buttes, where Stacey and Danny call home. Shortly after moving into their home their fun little hobby of winemaking started and later became a full-fledged family affair. As we sat on their back patio, Stacey told me, “When we are open for tastings, you’ll find three generations of Mungers here!” I just love how the entire family is involved in the process of making these wines. Each time I pour myself a glass it makes me love it even more!
Munger Family Vineyard is open for walk-in tastings one weekend a month, and private tasting/events as well. Be sure to check their schedule, and if I were you, I’d order a Grazing Box to enjoy with your tasting! Go visit them at 2144 Irwin Ave Sutter CA, you’re sure to have a great time!
